TURNED ON is made up of some of Tokyo’s most innovative event promoters, DJs, and artists. With a history reaching back nearly 5 years, TURNED ON has aggresively helped shaped the look and sound of Tokyo’s Night life scene with a variety of popular club nights ranging from a variety of themes and targeting a wide array of party goers.
Music has always been the back bone of TURNED ON, and this is clearly visable with TURNED ON’s own label. TURNED ON TRAX, is home to Vivid and friend’s upcoming releases including the French electro monster Naeleck, and the incredible remixer ODDITY.
TURNED ON TALENT further pushes the Turned On sound with a roster of artists with unique skills and talents that continues to keep them busy every weekend.
Leading the charge is DJ Vivid; with a rich history in Tokyo’s club scene, busy international Dj schedule and a stream of music releases, Vivid continues to make strides in the Tokyo EDM scene. Vivid is joined by: Kiraz and Calyssa, two of the leading foreign female Djs in Japan with non stop DJ bookings. Jason Hasai: A true music head with his heart in the Tokyo Underground. Do or Die: A leader in the Dub Step scene, with a sound that few club systems can handle. Tha Boogie Bandit: A true Mash Up artist, who surprises his followers with every set. Mixture: A pirate radio legend with a real passion for deep funky house. And Excellia Tokyo’s upcoming Progressive House producer and dance floor destroyer.
